Two Days of IMPACT
The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Regional IMPACT Summit marks the first time two organizations are partnering at a Regional level. They are building upon 5 successful years of the local SHPE-NSBE DFW College to Career event.
This expanded summit elevates the impact of our long-standing collaboration by preserving all the high-value programming students have come to expect—career readiness, industry exposure, and scholarship opportunities—while integrating pathways for engagement and growth. As part of the expansion, we are also introducing a dedicated track for professionals. We are creating meaningful spaces for networking, leadership development, and career conversations for all attendees. Bringing together students and professionals from two of the nation’s largest STEM associations strengthens community ties, accelerates career advancement, and amplifies opportunities across the engineering and technology pipeline.

Our scholarship program invests in students who demonstrate leadership, service, and a commitment to creating meaningful IMPACT through their education. We seek individuals who not only strive for academic excellence, but who also use their talents to uplift their communities and expand opportunity for others. By supporting driven, purpose-led scholars, we aim to help remove financial barriers, empower future innovators, and strengthen the pipeline of leaders who will shape tomorrow.

SATURDAY, APRIL 18th, 2026
IMPACT SUMMIT DAY
Location: The University of Texas - Arlington
The Summit will be a full day of workshops, keynotes, panels, and networking sessions. Summit Track details coming soon.
